Yesterday I took a day trip to the Isle of Arran to deliver and install a commissioned panel. Never visited the Island before and decided to go over as a foot passenger carrying my large parcel, luckily it was a superb summers day, unlike today.
The panel has been a slow piece (all on my part) but involved 'paper' communication on style and content. The colours were chosen to reflect the owners passion about Arran and the changing seasons (the pink looks a little red on my screen, but it is definitely a deep pink).
It was a great chance to see the work in-situ (along with a large sculputural dish of mine bought at Spring Fling). Quite amazing how it came to life once hung and lovely to see the changing views whilst walking around the room.
