'Winter GlassScape' at ZeST

....still playing with powders, these pieces using the original colours of the buoys in Lybster Harbour, yellow, pink and white. Made exclusively for ZeST Contemporary Glass Winter show this year and available until December 22nd. Each vessel has 3 unique spoons made entirely of glass powder, the most delicate objects I've ever made (and thankfully all made it down to London in one piece).

They are called Buoy Boy (Candy edition)....the colours and the spoons all felt very confectionary like, especially the construction of the spoons. Also I'm trying to stop all refined sugar in my own diet, so probably had sugar on the brain!
